  • Non-Special Event Dates:

    We’re pretty simple; we charge $500 a night (with a two-night minimum and two night), and $400 a night for stays that are 7 - 14 days. Long term transitional housing (15 -30 days per month) are priced at $3000 (including utilities).

    Special Event Rates (Festivals, Golf Tournaments):

    Given the demand and our desire to accommodate our guests, maintain a wait list for these dates given that some parties will book then cancel.

    For weeklong events including any Pinehurst Country Club tournament, we charge a weekly (7 day/6 night) rate of $4000. Rate accommodations are made for guest that wish/need to come priuor to the event or stay beyond the event. Deposits for these event dates are half the stay total.

  • Unlike AirBnB, we don't publish a calendar because many potential guests have flexible dates; if you are interested in exploring staying with us, or your firm dates are firm, fill out our form or call us at 910 356-1007.  We'll get back to you within 24 hours.

  • Holly House on Orange is located on Orange Road in the Village of Pinehurst, NC. The house is a 3 minute walk to eateries, coffee houses, pubs, and casual shopping…and a 10 minute walk to Pinehurst Country Club and its main clubhouse, restaurants, golf courses, and the Pinehurst Golf Academy. Holly House is also a 10 minute walk to the First Health Moore Regional Hospital, the area’s premier hospital, surgery, and outpatient healthcare center, as well as Pinehurst Elementary School.

  • We are very family friendly and a great choice for families coming to the US Kids Golf, junior golf tournaments, or the Pinehurst North South tournament. Holly House also sits on a half-acre with lots of room to spread out (inside and out). Orange Road is the quietest street in Village of Pinehurst with something for everyone to do. Our street has only 7 cottages and no traffic. And Pinehurst Elementary School is 3 blocks away.

    We are not pet friendly (our floors are soft pine and scratch easily) but we can be pet tolerant with the right pet guest - let’s talk.

    We are not a party friendly house. If you require one, we suggest you use Airbnb.

  • If you do not have a pet, There are no additional fees.

  • No.

  • We promise to be respectful of your costs, and we ask you take care of the house. We take a two-night security deposit for stays less than a week, a three-night security deposit for stays more than 7 days , and a half rate deposit for special event stays. As long as nothing crazy happens, we return the entire deposit.

    We don’t care about mess, we only care about damage. We want you to enjoy yourself, and we want you to want to come back. We love our community and hope you grow to love it too.

  • We’re pretty simply: the kitchen basics for cooking (gas stove and a gas outside grill), stocked kitchen for family meal prep, and wifi, along with a wifi TV on the main floor. We have a nice patio and pergola outside for dining alfresco.

  • We have 3 bedrooms:

    - 1 with a double bed and private bath on the main floor;

    - 1 with a twin bed on the second floor; and

    - 1 with a two twin beds (that can be combined) on the second floor

    For guests needing an additional bed, we have a high grade air mattress. All our beds are premium mattresses. We believe you can’t have a good time anywhere without quality sleep.

  • We have plenty of off-street parking but can not accommodate oversize vehicles or trailers.

  • Your main contact is the owner Tom O’Connor. Tom is a hands-on, off-site host who will coordinate your stay planning to make sure you are comfortable with every aspect of your stay – arriving, enjoying your stay, and departing satisfied.

  • There are no keys, just a keypad entry on the main (backdoor) entrance.

  • Yes, there are; nothing out of the ordinary. The booking part with us will feel like Airbnb, but without all the junk fees. We will review all of that when you contact us to explore staying at Holly House.

  • We provide a full refund of your deposit up to TWO WEEKs from Date of Arrival for non-special event stays and FOUR WEEKS from Date of Arrival for special event stays (festivals, golf tournaments). Cancellations within these windows are given the choice of forfeiture of full deposit or a one-time rescheduling within the calendar year.
